Thanksgiving

Ask: if there’s a question ask it. Don’t stand there and say “is there something you want to tell me?!”

All because Z asked for food after we got home. 

“They say couples become more like each other. I’m like this because of you. You used to be like this. You rubbed off on me.” 

I know I wasn’t the best person. I’m trying to be a better person. All I ask is that he calm down in front of Z. He’s constantly reactive. Z didn’t want him to take her out of the car seat and asked for me/ while crying. “Don’t be an ungrateful”. She doesn’t know how this makes you feel, it’s not on purpose, but you don’t care. Long term my concern is that she will try to please you and not voice herself. 

 I know I’ve made mistakes, but it’s not ok for him to not take ownership of  his emotions and blame it on me.
