Sometimes I wonder, will I ever measure up people's expectations?

Or maybe, the expectations I set for myself. It is easy to nod off the disquiet for a while; minutes later, it all crawls back and haunts you the same question you ask to yourself.

Will I ever be enough? 

I feel like, no matter how strong I tried, it all tend to subpar results. The harder pill to swallow is the way I let down the people who regard me as someone good. I always set a bar so good most of the time, and then drags off in the latter part. A usual idea of me, honestly— an inconsistent bitch. 

For now, I do not want anything to burn me down. If all it takes to finish the pace is to stumble forward many times, so be that way then. Maybe next time, I already know what to do and all the mysteries in my head are deciphered. Maybe I am not that good like I used to know about myself, and it's okay. I have to protect my sanity first, and make sure I won't soak myself to people's validation. I do me.
