Getting rid of habits is difficult

I have been in a long-distance relationhip for 2.5 years. All this time, I used to talk to my then partner everynight till I fall asleep. Even after our breakup, I used to talk to them before I go to bed. Today, I am sleeping alone, without calling them. It is like an addiction. I have to control myself so much to not to call them. I hope I find myself at the place where I do not need anyone to sleep peacefully in the night.
