Describe what love is to me

Hi, after so many days on this website, I never stop coming here, and once again I am back here with something I can't tell anyone, and no one is even interested in knowing it. Some days ago, I was going through Pinterest, and I saw a journal prompt asking, 'Describe what love is to you.'

For me?

Love is not leaving someone alone when you know they can’t stay without you.

Love is when you stop doing or even talking about the things they don’t like or make them feel uncomfortable.

Love is when you choose that person the way they are and accept them for who they are, effectively choosing them even when they themselves give up on everything.

Love is everything that made you remind you of them; it can be anything, a flower, a song, an ice cream flavour.

Love is when everything is innocent and making efforts out of love , not from attachment , not for something they want back.

Love is when everything is respected about them: their fear, their insecurity, their trauma, and we try to fix it.

Maybe I will never describe it but just for once i want to be loved in that way.
