It's been 3 days since the exam ended

It’s been 3 days since the exam ended.

That exam... man, it honestly felt like my whole reason for living lately. It gave me a purpose—knowing I had to prepare, study, and revise. Even the exam anxiety was something, you know? At least it kept me moving, kept me busy, and kept my life going.

But now that it’s over... honestly, it didn't go the way I hoped it would. And now that 3 days have passed, knowing there’s no other exam this year that I can pour myself into like I did for this one... it just feels empty. For the last 3 days, I’ve just been mindlessly scrolling through Reels and watching YouTube, but deep down, this emptiness is just eating away at me. I feel like crying.

Before the exam, watching movies used to be so much fun, but now? I haven't watched a single one. I tried, but I just couldn't bring myself to care. And I’m turning 24 this September. No job, no nothing. It just feels like everything is slipping out of my hands. I’ve decided I’ll start preparing for another exam, but the notification/vacancy isn't even out yet.

Until then... what are my parents going to think? 'He’s such a smart kid, so why hasn’t he been able to crack any exam yet? What is going to happen to him, to us?'

I bet that’s exactly what Mom and Dad are thinking.

I feel like I’ve completely disappointed them... 🌧️

I really hope the coming days bring some peace and that I’ll finally achieve what I want to. I just want to get back on the track I envisioned for myself. Right now, it just feels like I’m standing right in the middle of a dense jungle. Nothing around me, no visible path... just complete, hollow emptiness.
